Saxon Tower is cladded in glass curtain wall with a very few trappings and basically pretty much of a monotone appearance. The idea is not to overdesign the tower where the surrounding is a closely packed old industrial area marked by a gridlock of narrow streets. The main focus is on the entrance which is totally transparent with an impressive system of large glass panel wall reaching almost a 3 storey height. Through this glass wall we can see a high ceiling lobby heralding a ‘minimalist’ wonder. It is simple, clear-cut, fashioned by a combination of stone and glass panels on walls and ceilings while a rare metal drapes effectively backdropping an elegant reception counter. It is the feeling of a calm haven as contrast to the hustle and bustle of the old industrial district that gives this building a convincing voice of modernity and elegance.
