Queen’s Cube was created as a stand alone building with a distinguished identity within a cluttered and haphazard mix-used neighbourhood.

Cladded largely with glass curtain wall, the main tower merges with the podium forming one single entity, while presenting an interesting dialogue between the uniform main shaft and the very composed podium design. The building is strategically curved at the corner of Stone Nullah Street and Queen’s Road East, providing an unobstructed front view towards the historical “Blue House”. At this same corner a double-height, glass enclosed residential entrance lobby is tucked under the cascading tower, generating a scintillating tension between volume and void.

A lit-up clubhouse crowning the 24-storey tower is designed to highlight the building’s identity in a larger urban context. Dominated by a linear swimming pool, a sky garden on the podium roof forms part of the club facilities.
